Inaugural Class 100 Mile

Traci Falbo

Won the inaugural 2014 race outright in freezing conditions. Her 14:45:26 was the fastest known time for 100 miles on a North American trail, and it put the course on the map.

Class of 2015 100 Mile

Mike Bialick

His 2015 win was the fastest 100-mile run in North America that year, by 45 minutes. He won again in 2019 (12:59:43) and finished second in 2017 (13:01:21) and 2018 (12:46:11).

Her 2017 run lowered the women's 100-mile world record by more than an hour and brought Tunnel Hill international attention.

Elov Olsson

The Swede took more than 42 minutes off the 100-mile course record in 2023, setting the men's course record and a world's best off-road time.

Averaged 5:46 per mile for the full distance to set the men's 50-mile world record in 2023.

Courtney Olsen

Broke a 33-year-old women's 50-mile world record in 2024. She returned in 2025 to become the second woman in history to run under seven hours for 100 kilometers.

Since Tunnel Hill Went on to win the 100km World Championship in Ames, Spain (September 2026), in 7:10:31.
